Parrot AR Drone SDK for Microsoft .Net and Windows
Here is some of the first footage of the Parrot AR Drone SDK that Thomas, Julien and myself have been working on for several weeks.
The library has support for WPF and Windows Forms development.
It is a control class written in C# but will support VB.Net too. The core is just a wrapper around the original Win32 code supplied with the Drone.
Currently video is supported along with saving frames and movie clips.
We were going to release this to the world a while ago, but Parrot asked us to wait until they can revise the license to allow for 3rd party SDK tools.
So far no word yet, but if we all ask them nicely... Who knows?
[A big thank you to Thomas and Julien - they took my rather flaky first design and transformed it into something very special.
The only thing it doesn't do is make tea - that's going to be in SP1 ;-)]

The drone industry is in a continuous development and this led to a boom of devices that flooded the market with various models, producers and even clones. Nowadays we don’t even need a special controller for our drones, it’s enough to pair them with a smartphone or a tablet by installing a specific app. http://mydronelab.com/best-pick/iphone-controlled-drone.html
